| The zone bar line is really awesome tasting and fairly decent for you (versus junk snack food). It has 12g of protein which is not bad. I prefer the regular dark chocolate or dark chocolate almond over the Cookies & creme, but these are OK. I would buy the other version of this before I would purchase the C&C again. |

Zone Perfect bars are his absolute favorite way to do so during busy afternoons. While I bought this product for an older friend who needed to supplement her diet, I love the Zone bars myself for when I get those cravings for something sweet.
This product has been formulated to have a balanced combination of protein, fats and carbs. and is low in sodium. The dark chocolate is healthier than other chocolates and gives a rich chocolate taste. One bar is very filling and easily satisfies a sweet tooth. |

| Since Target only carries the stupid chocolate versions of Zone bars, I am forced to buy them online. They arrive as scheduled and I have one with my coffee every day. |
Pleasantly surprised with the double dark chocolate bars

I wasn't expecting to like this bar because I have tried similar bars from other companies, but was pleasantly suprised. The double dark chocolate bar was actually very chocolately and satisfying. Better yet, it had a pretty generous size for the nutritional profile. It had a weird, almost fruity, wine-like aftertaste that took a little while to get used to, but it was much less apparent than other energy/fortified bars I have tried. Many of them claim to taste chocolately, but mostly just taste chemical-like and sweet but that was not the case with this bar at all. I also really enjoyed the texture, it was nice and crunchy and reminded me of a Luna bar.
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. I won't eat these often because the ingredient list is pretty long and full of things I cannot pronounce (which I try to avoid) but it is great in a pinch and really satisfying when I am tempted to turn to a candy bar instead. |
