| It took me 2 months to shop Casein products out there. This one is one of the best. The extreme chocolate flavor is so good that it makes me addicted to it. Best if mixed with milk, not water. Make sure you stir the powder well so that it won't leave the powder residue in your glass and/or spoon. The powder tends to be sticky to wet surface and it is way thicker than whey protein (that's why it's good if mixed with milk, not water). Casein protein powder will be absorbed slowly in your body, so it is good to consume it before bedtime when your body rests and needs the protein to repair the damaged muscles. |

I have no complaints about this protein, I would recomend that you go with a plain flavour or perhaps vanilla. Choclate is way too choclatty and I had to mix a vanilla protein with this to dampen the flavour.

I have been using this product for month and I must say I'm very impressed with it. I have found that when I take this product with milk (2%, lactose free) this product satisfies my hunger for at least the 4 hours. Which is one aspect of nutrition that this product is designed for (hunger and calorie control.) Also I would say that another aspect of this product that is very useful, is that it does seem to help me recovery better after my workouts than other protein products I have used in the past. I generally feel better the next day after a hard work out when I take this product.
As for mixing and taste. I would general say that mixing is easy going for the most part. When I used a blender and a shaker it mixed no problem without and clumps. The only problem I had with mixing was when I was in a rush and both my blender and shakers were dirty. I tried mixing it with a spoon in a normal cup. Well that didn't turn out so well. Lots of clumps and it just mix all that well. As for taste. I give it high mark for taste. You can mix it with milk or water and it tastes great. A warning though. This stuff is thick. So you may want to mix this with water first to see if you can handle the consistency of it. Personally I like it in milk even though it a little heavy.
So in closing I would say this is an excellent product overall and deserves a 5 star rating. |

| i swear, with 100% of my being, that all star health is THE best online source for health supplements such as protein and strength and recovery products. i often find that all star health is a one stop shop for me. i've bought 2 more items from this seller, and plan to continue purchasing from them. though it would be nice to get lowered shipping rates... :) hehe. not that they're bad, i just love low shipping costs. thank you, all star health, you f****ing rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
